REGISTRATION INFORMATION (READ FIRST)
SAHI (Saudi Association for the Hearing Impairment) provides the venue and domestic hosting in Saudi Arabia. GDMF (Global Deaf Muslim Federation), as international co-organizer, manages international registration, invitations, and participant coordination. Registration Fee: A mandatory fee applies to cover administrative, visa-support, accessibility, and program support costs. Fees may increase as the conference approaches—please register early. Accommodation: SAHI has indicated that accommodation support in Makkah may be available for a limited number of international participants (up to 150), subject to confirmation. Travel Costs: International flights and personal expenses remain the responsibility of each participant. Approval: Attendance is contingent upon review and final approval by GDMF, SAHI, and the relevant Saudi authorities.
REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Invited speakers and nominated representatives will lead the consultation sessions for the Unified Islamic Sign Dictionary. Other participants — including Deaf and non-Deaf organizations, scholars, educators, interpreters, students, and Saudi citizens — are welcome to attend the wider conference program, subject to space availability and approval.
Mandatory for all participants, covering administration, visa support, accessibility services, and program costs. Fees may increase as the event approaches.
SAHI would provide a limited local transportation support in Makkah for international participants (subject to confirmation). Flights, visas, and personal expenses are each participant’s responsibility.
Fees are refundable only in cases of official visa denial or documented health reasons by December 12, 2025. Requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] with evidence.
All registrations are subject to final approval by GDMF (international co-organizer), SAHI (local host), and the relevant Saudi authorities.

WHAT YOUR FEES COVER
The fees support international coordination and registration administration, visa assistance and documentation processing, accessibility and interpretation services, provision of delegate materials including ID badges and program support, as well as arrangements that ensure participant comfort and inclusion.

Fees are standard for international conferences and ensure fairness, transparency, and commitment. They cover administration, visa support, accessibility/interpretation, materials, and other arrangements that keep the event inclusive and professional.
Venue/hospitality support does not cover international administration, documentation, interpretation scaling, and inclusion measures GDMF must deliver for global participants. The fee funds those essentials.
Yes. Reduced fees apply to delegates from the World Bank defined Lower-Middle and Low Income countries to encourage broad participation.
The conference provides sign language interpretation and reasonable accommodations. Indicate needs in the form; our team will confirm arrangements.
Passport details are required for clearance. Guidance is sent after registration review. Timely submission helps avoid delays.
